Them that's hanging they guts out
We gonna scrutinize figure they guts out
and them that's hanging they nuts out
we gonna ask where's the guts for us to puzzle out?
and in this way we will say who's a citizen
and in this way we will know who'll be back again
Them that's bringing the people out
will be forced to remember the people
but them that ain't turning the party out
will be smothered in lime by the people in the end
Them that's building the building out
are the architects that the building's about
and them that's putting up and putting out
are identified by the cuts on they mouths
by them that's flailing they arms about

A fantastic album. I can see why they didn't continue under the name The Evens, as it's a different sound with the bass added. Coriky is the Evens + Joe Lally from Fugazi on bass. If you can imagine The Evens with a slightly more funky, aggressive sound like Fugazi... that's what you get! And there's no way that can ever go wrong. What a great debut album!! smiledozer
This album is amazing from start to finish! It's got such a cool, poetic, punk rock vibe. Hits the soul, for real. Please come play in Miami, Florida soon! Thank you for your art! richnice1975
